# Wallpy vs Walla

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walla at every 9 days against Wallpy's every 6 weeks. Walla also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Wallpy's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 45). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Walla sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Wallpy against 4.7 for Walla. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpy has 1.3K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 86% and 86% positive.

Wallpy ships an update every 6 weeks, Walla every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
