# Welcome vs BWG

The clearest difference is update cadence: Welcome at every 4 weeks against BWG's every 6 months. Welcome also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Welcome ships an update every 4 weeks, BWG every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
