# iShare Remote vs BanlanX

The clearest difference is update cadence: iShare Remote at fortnightly against BanlanX's every 6 weeks. iShare Remote also leads on review sentiment (36% vs 26%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). BanlanX's advantage is rating (2.5 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (262 vs 25). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BanlanX holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BanlanX has 262 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of iShare Remote's written reviews are positive against 26% of BanlanX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iShare Remote ships an update fortnightly, BanlanX every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
