# Tombola vs Chooser

The clearest difference is rating: Chooser at 5.0 against Tombola's 2.2. Chooser also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Tombola's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chooser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Tombola asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chooser holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tombola has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tombola ships an update every 3 weeks, Chooser every 11 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
