# FlashCards vs Flippables Flashcards

The clearest difference is rating: Flippables Flashcards at 5.0 against FlashCards's 4.5. Flippables Flashcards also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). FlashCards's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashCards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flippables Flashcards sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flippables Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlashCards has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
