# FlashCards vs TangoTomo

The clearest difference is ads: TangoTomo at none against FlashCards's shown. FlashCards's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashCards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TangoTomo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashCards ships an update fortnightly, TangoTomo monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
