# Live Lightning Map Storm Radar vs Lightning Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Lightning Tracker at 5.0 against Live Lightning Map Storm Radar's 4.3. Lightning Tracker also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Live Lightning Map Storm Radar's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Lightning Map Storm Radar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Lightning Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
