# Chords Pad vs ESHub

The clearest difference is ads: ESHub at none against Chords Pad's shown. ESHub also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chords Pad sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and ESHub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chords Pad ships an update every 6 weeks, ESHub every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
