# Watch Faces vs Cadence Runner

The clearest difference is rating: Cadence Runner at 5.0 against Watch Faces's 2.6. Cadence Runner also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). Watch Faces's advantage is ratings volume (290 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Cadence Runner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cadence Runner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 290 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch Faces ships an update every 3 weeks, Cadence Runner every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
