# Devolutions Password Manager vs SonicExpress

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Devolutions Password Manager at 75% against SonicExpress's 25%. Devolutions Password Manager also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). SonicExpress's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (11 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SonicExpress holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Devolutions Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 25% of SonicExpress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Devolutions Password Manager ships an update every 2 weeks, SonicExpress every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
