# Abs Workout vs CheckNectar

The clearest difference is update cadence: CheckNectar at every 3 weeks against Abs Workout's every 9 months. CheckNectar also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Abs Workout's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 20). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Abs Workout sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and CheckNectar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Abs Workout against 5.0 for CheckNectar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abs Workout has 1.1K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Abs Workout's written reviews are positive against 100% of CheckNectar's.

Abs Workout ships an update every 9 months, CheckNectar every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
