# PedApp vs PedConnex

The clearest difference is rating: PedConnex at 5.0 against PedApp's 3.6. PedApp's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PedConnex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PedApp has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PedApp ships an update every 8 months, PedConnex every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
