# VKos vs Shedevrum

The clearest difference is rating: Shedevrum at 4.8 against VKos's 2.8. Shedevrum also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). VKos's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VKos sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Shedevrum asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shedevrum holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shedevrum has 1.8K ratings behind it against 132, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of VKos's written reviews are positive against 50% of Shedevrum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VKos ships an update every 6 weeks, Shedevrum every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
