# Followers vs Postegro

Followers and Postegro both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Postegro's written reviews are positive against 15% of Followers's. Postegro also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). Followers's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 215). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Followers sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Postegro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Followers against 4.5 for Postegro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Followers has 29K ratings behind it against 215, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 15% of Followers's written reviews are positive against 73% of Postegro's.

Followers ships an update monthly, Postegro every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
