# Followers vs Postegro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Postegro at free with in-app purchases against Followers's subscription. Postegro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). Followers's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 10) and review sentiment (15% vs 3%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Followers sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Postegro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Postegro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Followers has 30K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Followers's written reviews are positive against 3% of Postegro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Followers ships an update monthly, Postegro every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
