# SCNTN vs Whiteboard

The clearest difference is rating: SCNTN at 5.0 against Whiteboard's 4.2. SCNTN also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Whiteboard's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 64 months) and ratings volume (465 vs 10). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whiteboard sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. SCNTN asks for nothing beyond the download.

SCNTN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiteboard has 465 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
