# Geometry vs e

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: e at none against Geometry's 10. e also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Geometry sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

Geometry ships an update every 2 months, e fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
