# Sixth Tone vs ConcisePress

The clearest difference is ads: ConcisePress at none against Sixth Tone's shown. ConcisePress also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Sixth Tone's advantage is ratings volume (147 vs 4) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sixth Tone against 5.0 for ConcisePress. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sixth Tone has 147 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
