# GEMS Connect vs Upstrive Education

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Upstrive Education at 74% against GEMS Connect's 47%. GEMS Connect's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GEMS Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GEMS Connect has 214 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of GEMS Connect's written reviews are positive against 74% of Upstrive Education's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GEMS Connect ships an update every 4 days, Upstrive Education fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
