# Full Screen for Safari vs Cloudy

The clearest difference is rating: Cloudy at 3.5 against Full Screen for Safari's 2.4. Cloudy also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 5) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Full Screen for Safari's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloudy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Full Screen for Safari asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cloudy holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloudy has 342 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Full Screen for Safari's written reviews are positive against 46% of Cloudy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Full Screen for Safari ships an update every 6 days, Cloudy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
