# Speed Reading App vs Speed Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: Speed Reader at every 5 days against Speed Reading App's every 5 weeks. Speed Reader also leads on review sentiment (55% vs 43%). Speed Reading App's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Reading App sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Speed Reader sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
