# Arboreal Forest vs Timber Calculator Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Arboreal Forest at 4.2 against Timber Calculator Plus's 1.0. Arboreal Forest also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Timber Calculator Plus's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arboreal Forest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Timber Calculator Plus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arboreal Forest holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arboreal Forest has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Arboreal Forest's written reviews are positive against 67% of Timber Calculator Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Arboreal Forest ships an update every 6 days, Timber Calculator Plus every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
