# Point vs Inventor Tech POS

The clearest difference is rating: Inventor Tech POS at 5.0 against Point's 4.3. Point's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Inventor Tech POS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Point has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
