# Børnekassen vs PMDD Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: PMDD Tracker at 4.3 against Børnekassen's 2.0. PMDD Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 7 months vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Børnekassen sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PMDD Tracker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.95 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PMDD Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PMDD Tracker has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Børnekassen ships an update every 23 months, PMDD Tracker every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
