# Live Wallpaper Maker vs VideoToLive

Live Wallpaper Maker and VideoToLive both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of VideoToLive's written reviews are positive against 18% of Live Wallpaper Maker's. Live Wallpaper Maker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (24K vs 596). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Wallpaper Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and VideoToLive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Live Wallpaper Maker against 4.4 for VideoToLive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Wallpaper Maker has 24K ratings behind it against 596, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 18% of Live Wallpaper Maker's written reviews are positive against 62% of VideoToLive's.

Live Wallpaper Maker ships an update fortnightly, VideoToLive monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
