# Roborock vs LockToDo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LockToDo at 90% against Roborock's 52%. LockToDo also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Roborock's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockToDo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Roborock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Roborock holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roborock has 131K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Roborock's written reviews are positive against 90% of LockToDo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roborock ships an update every 3 weeks, LockToDo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
