# XIAOM vs KCQ Scooter

The clearest difference is update cadence: KCQ Scooter at every 3 weeks against XIAOM's every 12 months. KCQ Scooter also leads on ratings volume (131 vs 5) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). XIAOM's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.0) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XIAOM holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KCQ Scooter has 131 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of XIAOM's written reviews are positive against 15% of KCQ Scooter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XIAOM ships an update every 12 months, KCQ Scooter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
