# Good Sam Mail Service vs SecStream VPN

The clearest difference is rating: SecStream VPN at 4.7 against Good Sam Mail Service's 3.8. SecStream VPN also leads on ratings volume (204 vs 6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Good Sam Mail Service's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecStream VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Good Sam Mail Service asks for nothing beyond the download.

SecStream VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SecStream VPN has 204 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Good Sam Mail Service's written reviews are positive against 60% of SecStream VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Good Sam Mail Service ships an update every 2 months, SecStream VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
