# Blitz vs Focus Go

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Go at 4.5 against Blitz's 3.8. Focus Go also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blitz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Focus Go sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Go holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Blitz's written reviews are positive against 75% of Focus Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
