# Blitz vs Purelist

The clearest difference is rating: Purelist at 4.6 against Blitz's 3.8. Purelist also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blitz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Purelist sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Purelist holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purelist has 41 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Blitz's written reviews are positive against 75% of Purelist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
