# CCM Test Prep vs CCM Prep

The clearest difference is rating: CCM Prep at 5.0 against CCM Test Prep's 1.3. CCM Prep also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 weeks). CCM Test Prep's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CCM Test Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CCM Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CCM Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CCM Test Prep has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CCM Test Prep ships an update every 4 weeks, CCM Prep every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
