# Screen Recorder Pro⋆ vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is monetization model: Screen Recorder at ad-supported against Screen Recorder Pro⋆'s subscription. Screen Recorder Pro⋆'s advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 620) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recorder Pro⋆ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Screen Recorder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
