# COTK vs Pulse Checks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse Checks at every 5 days against COTK's every 3 months. COTK's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for COTK against 5.0 for Pulse Checks. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: COTK has 46 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

COTK ships an update every 3 months, Pulse Checks every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
