# Secure Terminal vs Appspree

Secure Terminal and Appspree both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Secure Terminal's written reviews are positive against 58% of Appspree's. Appspree's advantage is ratings volume (660 vs 63). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Terminal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Appspree sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Secure Terminal against 4.6 for Appspree. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Appspree has 660 ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Secure Terminal's written reviews are positive against 58% of Appspree's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
