# Freight Book vs Loadbase

The clearest difference is rating: Loadbase at 5.0 against Freight Book's 3.0. Loadbase also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). Freight Book's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Loadbase holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loadbase has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freight Book ships an update every 14 months, Loadbase every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
