# OVER vs TimeOut2Thrive

The clearest difference is update cadence: OVER at every 6 weeks against TimeOut2Thrive's every 21 months. OVER also leads on ratings volume (99 vs 6). TimeOut2Thrive's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OVER holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVER has 99 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of OVER's written reviews are positive against 75% of TimeOut2Thrive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OVER ships an update every 6 weeks, TimeOut2Thrive every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
