# BLÜ vs MyGabb

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BLÜ at 55% against MyGabb's 11%. BLÜ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). MyGabb's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyGabb holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGabb has 8.2K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of BLÜ's written reviews are positive against 11% of MyGabb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
