# Express Thru vs Save Mochicat

The clearest difference is ads: Express Thru at none against Save Mochicat's shown. Express Thru also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Save Mochicat's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and ratings volume (38 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Express Thru sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Save Mochicat sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Express Thru holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Save Mochicat has 38 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Express Thru's written reviews are positive against 67% of Save Mochicat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Express Thru ships an update every 2 weeks, Save Mochicat every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
