# Skydio vs LIMITLESS 5

The clearest difference is monetization model: LIMITLESS 5 at free against Skydio's paid. LIMITLESS 5 also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Skydio's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skydio holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skydio has 77 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Skydio's written reviews are positive against 80% of LIMITLESS 5's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skydio ships an update every 2 months, LIMITLESS 5 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
