# Soulloop vs MODE THE METHOD

The clearest difference is monetization model: Soulloop at free with in-app purchases against MODE THE METHOD's subscription. Soulloop also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (134 vs 10). MODE THE METHOD's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 73%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soulloop sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MODE THE METHOD sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $50.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MODE THE METHOD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soulloop has 134 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Soulloop's written reviews are positive against 100% of MODE THE METHOD's.

Soulloop ships an update every 5 days, MODE THE METHOD every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
