# SneakerKit vs Ceric AR

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ceric AR at every 3 weeks against SneakerKit's every 4 months. SneakerKit's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SneakerKit ships an update every 4 months, Ceric AR every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
