# Classify vs GlowGrades

The clearest difference is update cadence: GlowGrades at every 5 days against Classify's every 2 months. GlowGrades also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Classify's advantage is ratings volume (223 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GlowGrades holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classify has 223 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classify ships an update every 2 months, GlowGrades every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
