# VDI Events vs Brix Cloud

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brix Cloud at every 4 months against VDI Events's every 13 months. VDI Events's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VDI Events ships an update every 13 months, Brix Cloud every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
