# StarLine 2 vs CHANGAN AUTO

The clearest difference is rating: StarLine 2 at 4.3 against CHANGAN AUTO's 1.9. StarLine 2 also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (721 vs 9). CHANGAN AUTO's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

StarLine 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarLine 2 has 721 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of StarLine 2's written reviews are positive against 47% of CHANGAN AUTO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StarLine 2 ships an update monthly, CHANGAN AUTO fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
