# Argo Navigation vs WAVZ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WAVZ at none against Argo Navigation's 4. Argo Navigation's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Argo Navigation sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. WAVZ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Argo Navigation against 5.0 for WAVZ. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Argo Navigation has 6.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Argo Navigation ships an update every 4 days, WAVZ every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
