# Unicent School vs iDev Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Unicent School at 3.7 against iDev Plus's 1.0. Unicent School also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). iDev Plus's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unicent School holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unicent School has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Unicent School's written reviews are positive against 35% of iDev Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Unicent School ships an update every 3 months, iDev Plus every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
