# Weather ⁰ vs LiveWeather Map

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LiveWeather Map at 100% against Weather ⁰'s 36%. LiveWeather Map also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Weather ⁰'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 13). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weather ⁰ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather ⁰ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Weather ⁰'s written reviews are positive against 100% of LiveWeather Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weather ⁰ ships an update every 6 months, LiveWeather Map every 29 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
