# ScaleClock vs PadLab

The clearest difference is price: ScaleClock at Free against PadLab's $2.99. ScaleClock also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3). PadLab's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1) and chart position (#46 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ScaleClock is free to download; PadLab costs $2.99 up front. ScaleClock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and PadLab sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScaleClock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PadLab has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScaleClock ships an update every 8 days, PadLab every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
