# DiveBud vs DIVEROUT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DIVEROUT at 66% against DiveBud's 0%. DIVEROUT also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (24 vs 2). DiveBud's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 15). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DIVEROUT sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. DiveBud asks for nothing beyond the download.

DiveBud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DIVEROUT has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of DiveBud's written reviews are positive against 66% of DIVEROUT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DiveBud ships an update every 2 months, DIVEROUT weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
