# 教開eTEXT vs エスビューア

The clearest difference is update cadence: エスビューア at every 3 months against 教開eTEXT's every 22 months. 教開eTEXT's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

教開eTEXT ships an update every 22 months, エスビューア every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
